Karen Rogers, PhD

Dr. Rogers is a licensed clinical psychologist at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at USC Keck School of Medicine. She was previously the Program Area Leader for Project Heal, the trauma treatment and training program at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) Mental Health Services. Dr. Rogers has over 25 years of experience providing clinical services, training and supervision in community mental health settings. Previously, she was Director of Prevention and Community Education at a community mental health center in New Hampshire. Dr. Rogers completed a post-doctoral fellowship in child and family forensic psychology at Dartmouth Medical School. Her areas of interest include impacts of childhood trauma, adversity and loss, professional self-care, and clinical training and community education.
